Wood Pellet Burning Stoves

Easy on the environment

Heating with wood pellets is easy on the environment. Pellets consist of 100% pressed wood, only held together by lignin, which is naturally present in the wood itself. This makes them integrate perfectly into the ecological cycle - when they are burned, pellets release exactly the same amount of CO2 as they absorbed as a tree.

As the pioneers of pellet stoves in Europe, Rika have developed a range of pellet stoves that are at the forefront of the market in terms of technology and efficiency, enabling them to utilize nearly all of the energy in the wood. The smoke coming out of the chimney consists mainly of water vapours, resulting in a minimum strain on the environment unlike heating from oil, gas, or coal.
