HDG SL 15kW split log wood central heating boiler.
The HDG SL has a very compact construction and is therefore also suitable if the available space is very limited. The HDG SL is an especially popular solution if wood is to be used as a supplemental fuel.
Overview
Independant and
Flexible With a small construction the HDG SL is idea for applications where space is limited.
Model Size 14.9kW
Fuels The HDG SL is designed for the burning of:
Up to 300mm split logs
Pressed briquettes
Coarse wood products
Link with Other Boilers
The HDG SL then serves as an auxiliary boiler
for existing systems, such as oil or gas burners for example. However,
the HDG also offers economic advantages and additonal security for heat
pumps and solar systems, which are often used in energy-saving homes.
With the appropriate layout of the heating system, the main heating
automatically switches on if the supply of energy through the HDG SL
decreases.
Fuelling Chamber
The boiler sheet steel
in the fuelling chamber area of the HDG SL 14 is
8 mm thick. Details such as this make
clear the consistent emphasis HDG
places on a long service life.
The HDG SL is a natural draught
boiler filled from the top. The ergonomically designed height of the
infeed edge facilitates loading.
The
extendable grate can be shaken for easy ash removal. The integrated ash
container allows the ash to be emptied cleanly.
Flexible in Many Areas
The HDG SL particularly distinguishes itself
through its flexible application options.
It can thus be optimally integrated to
provide support to existing systems.
With
its compact dimensions, it can be used in most places where an
additional
wood-heated boiler is desired.
Convenient Re-filling The top loading fuelling chamber can
be easily filled with log wood and dry bulk fuel. The fuelling chamber
hatch is easy to open due to the side mounted
handle.
Technical
Typical Installation with single heating circuit and hot water
Typical Installation with back up oil or gas boiler
The HDG Navora is a 25kW gasification wood burning boiler for use with wood logs and clean wood waste. The fuelling chamber volume is 155 litres which will produce approximately 172kWh from softwood and 220kWh from hard wood per fuelling.
