Hwam I 30/65 Insert

It doesn’t get more attractive than this. The up to 80 cm wide view of the flames behind the discrete glass pane
is an incredibly lovely decoration in any home. Design and function meet, as the HWAM I 30/65 also spreads
heat effectively. Despite its size, the door opens upward in a smooth, sliding motion.

All stoves from HWAM have the patented automatic system. It ensures an optimal combustion, because the air is automatically regulated.

One of the great qualities of a HWAM wood-burning stove is the automatic control of air supply for combustion. It is a system that we at HWAM Heat Design have developed and patented.

Automatics™ Benefits:
Cleaner combustion
More heat for your money
Less soot in the chimney and wood-burning stove
Pleasant everyday use with easy operation
Better fire safety
Less impact on the environment.
Independent tests have confirmed that HWAM Automatics™ system generates more warmth and a more environmentally friendly combustion.

Automagic

Hidden inside a HWAM you will find a little object that you are unlikely to ever actually see. It is nothing more than a simple heat-sensitive metal spring which expands or contracts depending on the temperature.
This little spring is the heart of an efficient and user-friendly combustion
system:
The HWAM automatic system: all wood-burning stoves from HWAM Heat Design are born with the patented HWAM Automatic system. The efficiency of the automatic system has been documented numerous times, and even if the principle is quite simple, it affects every aspect by which we measure and assess wood-burning stoves.

Operation and Cleaning
The automatic system optimises the combustion so you do not have to constantly adjust or monitor your HWAM stove during daily use. All you have to do is light up and enjoy the flames and the heat. When you add more firewood, the system will automatically readjust the stove for optimum combustion.  Furthermore, the optimised combustion reduces the amount of ashes and soot to facilitate cleaning.

Energy and Economy
The automatic system ensures optimum utilization of the firewood. The improved energy efficiency has been documented repeatedly. Overall, you can expect an improvement of 20 -30 % compared to conventional combustion systems.

Minimum Environmental Load
Purer combustion reduces the strain on the environment, both in terms of reduced consumption of resources, but also in terms of reduced smoke and particles.

The more efficiently a fire burns the fewer C02 emissions are produced. Less fuel is used. Less heat is lost.

Fact 1
Open Fires LOSE 80% of the energy they produce.
Only 20% of the energy produced heats your room.

Fact 2
Conventional stoves will are 60% efficient. This means 40% of the energy produced is lost through the flue.

Fact 3
HWAM Stoves lose just 20% of the energy they produce.
HWAM Stoves have an efficiency rating of 80%.
HWAM Stoves produce 75% less C02 emmisions than open fires.
HWAM Stoves use 85% less fuel than open fires.
