The Powered Ash Vac provides a contained filtering and containment system for vacuuming ash without the need to use your expensive vacuum cleaner which could cause damage.
The cyclonic action of the ash vac ensures consistent performance it is equipped with washable and replaceable filters and a 40mm vacuum tube, this simple device is perfect for cleaning cold ash from your multifuel stove or open fire with out spreading dust and debris around your house saving on cleaning and damage to your furniture, with its large 20 litre capacity 830watt motor there are many uses for this ingenious device. As you clean the ash vac you will notice that the container vibrates slightly. This is just the visible part of a much more important phenomenon taking place inside the cleaner, The motor is attached under the cover in such a way as to allow it to move, is positioned inside a cartridge filter. This cartridge is covered by a second filter. A turbine manufactured with an imbalance this causes both the motor and the filters to vibrate These vibrations (over 75 oscillations a second) prevent the ash from forming a thick crust on the filter. the ash automatically falls from the filter into the bottom of the container And also the vibrations compact the ash, making more space. When the level of the ash reaches the filter the vibrating action will continue to create a space between the accumulated ash and the filter; therefore the vacuum cleaner will continue to operate until the level of the ash reaches the place where the tube enters the container
